Public Skating Tips & Guidelines

Before You Arrive

Dress appropriately!  The rink is chilly—don’t forget your sweatshirt or coat.  Helmets (hockey or bicycle), elbow and knee pads are strongly recommended.  Gloves are are a good idea as well, not only will they keep our hands warm but protect you from the sharp skate blades.  Wear long pants and one pair of socks that come above the ankle.

Public sessions are subject to a capacity limit.  Paid admissions begin 20 minutes before the scheduled time of the session.

SKATE SAFE

It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that all skaters wear a protective helmet (hockey or bicycle) elbow and kneepads when participating in Public Skating.
